This group was formed in 2009 by Timo Jarvela with the vision of providing a further opportunity for the more advanced strings players, to continue playing in an ensemble atmosphere.
 
With a stable membership of 10 in recent years, Fiddle Group is able to take a more focussed approach to skill development and performance enhancement. Since its inception, the group, although playing fiddle music of various cultural backgrounds, concentrates on traditional music from Finland and Scandinavia.
 
Mr Henry Jarvela was appointed music director in 2024.​
