Welcome to the Moreton Youth Music Ensembles! ​
​​​Moreton Youth Music Ensembles (previously Pine Rivers Combined Bands) is an organisation primarily for young musicians of primary and secondary school age and beyond with varying levels of ability. There are currently seven ensembles: String Orchestra 1, String Orchestra 2, Fiddle Group, Chamber Strings, Concert Band and Senior Brass.
Our philosophy is to encourage members in the development of their individual music skills through their participation in ensemble activities, workshops and community performances. Whilst developing their musical and team skills, members attain personal enjoyment and fulfillment.

All members applying for MYSO 1 or MYSO 2 audition at the end of each year, with auditions typically held at the end of November or early December.​​​
